Do what I done did. Volunteer at your local Catholic festival. It’s 2:15am EST, and I’m just getting home after seven hours of dealing cards for a poker game at my churches annual festival. We close up shop at midnight, then spend a 1/2 hour cleaning up. Then the beer truck gets opened back up for everyone that is still there helping out. I brought home some left over pizza, and had at least three or four beers after the bands last number. All in all, a good way to spend a weekend.

But there’s beer. We Catholics love our beer. And pretty women in short/shorts and crop tops. Although, as a married man well past my 40's, I’m not really supposed to notice such things. ;)

Says the guy who helped a friend move, for free, using his own truck. Don’t think I didn’t see your prior post, Dr. Zoidberg, if that is your real name! Anyway, you could have your choice of several beers, wine or those awful beeraritas. And the funnel cakes, elephant ears and brats are also plentiful and either free or really cheap as well.

I’m more of a funnel cake person myself, but elephat ears are good as well. There is also Carny food too, but I try and stay away from the deep fried Snicker bar stuff. It plays havoc on my tum tum.

Your church only has one festival? I live about half a mile from a Catholic church and I swear a frat house would party less.
